Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant

Main Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, utensils, crockery and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the kitchen, pot wash and storage areas clean and tidy.
• Operate the dishwasher and put clean items away correctly.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Clean floors, sinks, work surfaces and equipment.
• Assist with deliveries and basic kitchen tasks when required.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Skills and Experience

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Able to work quickly and follow instructions.
• Comfortable with physical work and busy kitchen environments.
• Previous experience helpful but not essential.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
