Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our busy, high‑standard kitchen. If you’ve worked in fast‑paced kitchens and know how to keep a potwash running smoothly, we want to hear from you.

What the role involves

• Managing a busy potwash area efficiently during service
• Keeping kitchen equipment clean, organised and ready for use
• Following cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
• Using chemicals and PPE correctly
• Handling waste and recycling safely
• Supporting chefs with deliveries and general kitchen tasks
• Reporting maintenance issues promptly
• Maintaining a professional appearance and arriving on time

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter / KP
• Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork
• High standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Reliability and a positive attitude
