Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Porter/Server to join our team. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Support the cooking team by handling basic food prep and ingredient organisation
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and stored appropriately
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Set up dining areas prior to service and clear tables after use
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure seamless service during busy periods
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a hygienic environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver excellent guest experiences

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory
• Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations is advantageous but not necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various roles within the team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items safely
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service excellence

This role is part time and someone who is under 20 years old and if possible living close will be beneficial but not necessary.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
