Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Kitchen Prep Employee to join our poke bowl restaurant. This role is responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring all food is prepared according to quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash, cut, and prepare fresh vegetables, fruits, and garnishes.
• Prepare proteins, rice, sauces, and other ingredients following recipes and portion standards.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep stations and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Label, date, and properly store food items.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food quality.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.
• Flexible Availability is a plus.

Pay: $16.90 - $18.50 per hour
