We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using knives and other kitchen tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
• Support chefs during meal service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating dishes.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
• Experience in the food service industry, including restaurants or catering services, is a plus.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.
• A passion for culinary arts and willingness to help others in a team-oriented setting will contribute to your growth as a Kitchen Assistant.
