Kitchen Prep Cook – Daytime, Monday–Thursday

Boar's Head Cafe is looking for a reliable, Monday thru Thursday, daytime hours, hardworking Kitchen Prep team member to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. If you take pride in a clean workspace and enjoy being part of a fast-paced food service team, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients (chopping, portioning, assembling) following recipes and food safety standards
• Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen, including dishes, prep stations, floors, and equipment
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
• Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines
• Assist kitchen and counter staff during busy periods

Qualifications

• Some prior kitchen or food service experience required
• Knowledge of slicer operation preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
• Food handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
• Availability Monday through Thursday
