Familia Vineyards

Kitchen Prep Cook / Small Plates
Doghobble Wine Farm | Dahlonega, GA
About Us
Doghobble Wine Farm is a craft winery and working farm on the Dahlonega Plateau AVA - 80 acres of vineyard views, roaming animals, and an outdoor pavilion where guests come to slow down over a glass of something special. No pretension, just passion. Our food program is built the same way our wines are: with care, creativity, and respect for what grows here.
The Role
We're looking for a kitchen team member to join Chef Becca's seasonal kitchen and help bring our shareable plates to life. You'll be part of a team that's empowered to create real plates of food art - not just prepping a menu, but helping shape food that's made to sit next to our wines.
If you've got kitchen experience, we want to talk. If you're a developing cook who's hungry to learn and has an eye for a beautiful plate, we still want to talk. Technique can be taught to the right hands. What can't be taught is care, creativity, and hustle.
Schedule: Primarily Thursday through Sunday, with the ability to flex to other days for events and busy seasons.
What You'll Do

Prep and plate our small plates menu. Salads, focaccia, bruschetta, prosciutto-wrapped dates, empanadas, and other light bites that rotate with the seasons and our on-site garden.

Help create wine-pairing dishes. Bring ideas to the table and collaborate with the team on new menu items crafted to pair with our wines.

Keep quality consistent. Every plate that leaves the kitchen should look and taste like it belongs here.

Step behind the bar. Help serve wine to our guests when the bar gets busy, bringing the same warm hospitality to every pour that you bring to every plate.

Work clean and work as a team. Keep a tidy, organized, food-safe station and jump in wherever the kitchen needs you, including supporting the Embers Pizza Truck team on busy days.

What We're Looking For

Kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but not required for the right person

A creative streak and genuine interest in food and wine pairing

Comfortable stepping behind the bar to serve wine to guests

Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation

Reliable, team-first attitude in a fast-paced, guest-facing setting

Availability Thursday through Sunday, with flexibility to cover other days as needed

Food handler certification, or willingness to obtain one

What We Offer

Competitive hourly wage, plus tips eligible

A creative, collaborative kitchen team

A one-of-a-kind farm and vineyard setting to work in every day

The chance to grow with a business that's fast becoming one of North Georgia's most talked-about wine destinations

Interested? Apply with your experience and a bit about a dish you'd love to pair with a glass of wine. We'd love to hear from you.
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
