Kitchen Preparation/Dishwasher

Viet Hoa is a family-owned Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Preparation/ Dishwasher to join our team. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

PAY: $16–$20 PER HOUR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with previous kitchen experience who can follow instructions, work efficiently, and take pride in food quality and cleanliness.

Spanish, Chinese, or Vietnamese language skills are a plus. English proficiency is not required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare food and ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
• Follow food preparation and food safety procedures.
• Keep kitchen and preparation areas clean and organized.
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and kitchen items as needed.
• Wash dishes when the dish area becomes full.
• Help with general kitchen tasks as needed. Work efficiently while maintaining food quality.
• Follow instructions and recipes accurately. Work cooperatively with other kitchen team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 55 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Kitchen experience is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable and responsible.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and recipes.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Spanish, Chinese, or Vietnamese language skills are a plus. English proficiency is not required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEi

• No formal education or high school diploma required.
• Previous kitchen experience required.
