Job Summary

Mochi Mama Kitchen is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to assist with food preparation, dishwashing, stocking, and general kitchen duties. We are a small kitchen, so we need someone who is organized, flexible, works efficiently, and is willing to help with all aspects of daily kitchen operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi taco shells and corn dog sticks.
• Prepare sauces and other ingredients according to recipes.
• Use good knife skills to cut and prepare vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients.
• Boil and cook ingredients as needed.
• Safely handle and prepare seafood.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Stock and restock ingredients, supplies, and kitchen items as needed.
• Keep ingredients and supplies organized and properly stored.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and work area.
• Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with other daily kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Good knife skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a small kitchen.
• Willing to help with both food preparation and cleaning duties.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen tasks.

Position Details

• Job Title: Full-Time Kitchen Prep & Dishwasher
• Pay: $15 per hour
• Schedule: Tuesday through Sunday
