Kitchen Prep/Line Cook

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items, including vegetables, meats, and seafood
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
• Help with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred
• Knowledge of basic knife skills and food preparation techniques
• Familiarity with menu planning and dietary restrictions is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
