Kitchen Sanitation Technician

Job Summary

Victory Building Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kitchen Sanitation Technician to maintain clean, sanitary, and safe kitchen environments. The ideal candidate will perform sanitation tasks, clean kitchen equipment and surfaces, follow established hygiene procedures, and help ensure facilities meet applicable cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, countertops, sinks, and food preparation areas
• Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and food service tools
• Follow established cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures
• Use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants according to product instructions
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing areas, storage spaces, and service areas
• Remove waste and dispose of trash according to facility procedures
• Restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory
• Inspect kitchen areas for cleanliness and report maintenance or sanitation concerns
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines
• Maintain cleaning logs and complete assigned sanitation checklists

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, kitchen sanitation, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical cleaning tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
