Duties

• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision and care
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all team members and guests
• Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools throughout shifts to uphold hygiene standards
• Help with food plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate food service during busy periods
• Assist in catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring timely and quality food delivery

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food industry setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques are highly desirable
• Knowledge of food preparation, meal assembly, and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to support a lively kitchen atmosphere
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or training is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
