Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in food production, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Serve guests with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments securely
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Set up and clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining a tidy dining area
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, managing reservations via OpenTable, and ensuring guest relations are positive at all times
• Assist with beverage service including drink preparation, spirits knowledge, and cocktail presentation
• Support food handling procedures during food prep and service to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or events such as nightclub nights or special functions

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and upselling opportunities
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event nights
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales processing are essential
