Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes, safety standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Assist with meal preparation for various service types such as dine-in, takeout, or catering events.
• Support the team in ensuring food safety management by adhering to hygiene protocols and safety standards in production.
• Handle customer transactions accurately at the cashier station while providing friendly service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of meals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, dietary department, or restaurant service is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and kitchen equipment operation.
• Strong knife skills and slicing techniques for efficient food prep.
• Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and serving customers effectively.
• Catering experience or familiarity with food industry safety standards is a plus.
