About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook and Cook Helper to join our talented team at The Blaze Restaurant. As a Cook and CookHelper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our customers. This is a full-time position based in Bali.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the chef and line cooks in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
2. Maintain a clean and organised work station, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly cleaned and stored
3. Help with the plating and presentation of dishes to meet the high standards of the establishment
4. Restock and replenish ingredients and supplies as needed
5. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the kitchen operates in a safe and compliant manner
6. Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient and seamless food service

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Cook Helper or similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
3. Good manual dexterity and the physical stamina to stand for extended periods
4. A keen interest in food and a willingness to learn and develop new culinary skills
5. A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
6. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
