Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas are tidy for incoming guests.
• Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies, ingredients, or equipment around the kitchen.
• Serve food to guests efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper order handling.
• Support food running and guest service efforts by delivering orders from the kitchen to tables with professionalism and care.
• Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude in in-person guest interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $25.20 - $30.35 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
