Kitchen Staff

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Staff member/Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. This position will assist with dishwashing, food preparation, kitchen cleaning, stocking, and other general kitchen duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen clean and organized.
• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, sinks, equipment, and other kitchen areas.
• Take out trash and recycling as needed.
• Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist cooks and other kitchen staff when needed.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.
• Able to lift and carry kitchen supplies when necessary.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced kitchen environment. The position requires standing, bending, lifting, and working around water, cleaning products, hot equipment, and food-service equipment.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
