Duties

• Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure high-quality dishes.
• Handle food safety procedures diligently, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
• Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to facilitate smooth service flow.
• Assist with setting up banquet or event kitchens for special functions, ensuring all necessary supplies are ready.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and interact positively with guests.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
• Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or catering services is a plus.
• Familiarity with food handling standards and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
