Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Kitchen Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing excellent in-person customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning, manual handling, and adhering to safe lifting practices to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of food items in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Provide friendly and efficient in-person customer service to guests and team members
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and dining areas through regular cleaning routines
• Handle ingredients and supplies with proper manual handling techniques
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving kitchen supplies, equipment, or ingredients while following safe lifting practices
• Support the team during busy periods by performing various kitchen duties as needed
• Follow health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

• Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting
• Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent in-person customer service
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
