Duties

• Assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation guidelines
• Support cooking processes by following recipes and kitchen procedures accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are upheld
• Help with serving food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff members
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and utensils as needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy periods

Requirements

• Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is highly valued
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and focus
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others
• Good communication skills for effective coordination within the kitchen environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
