Duties

• Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas through regular cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas swiftly, and ensuring guest spaces are tidy and inviting
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Serve food efficiently to guests at the counter or table using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing
• Support food running duties by delivering orders promptly from the kitchen to guest tables or pickup stations
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining compliance with health regulations
• Assist with in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries courteously and providing a positive hospitality experience

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued
• Familiarity with kitchen operations including food preparation, cleaning routines, and basic POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting techniques
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
• Experience in customer service roles that involve in-person interaction enhances your ability to deliver guest-centric service
