Duties

• Assist in meal preparation and food handling to ensure high-quality dishes are served efficiently
• Support the cooking process by following recipes, portioning ingredients, and maintaining consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Help with food safety practices by adhering to health regulations and proper storage procedures
• Support serving staff by preparing orders for delivery or table service as needed
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is required
• Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and working collaboratively during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail in all duties
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting colleagues
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
