Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Support food running duties by delivering prepared dishes promptly to servers or directly to guests
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices
• Buss tables by clearing dishes efficiently and resetting tables for new guests to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist with food safety procedures by adhering to proper food handling protocols and maintaining hygiene standards
• Support banquet or event setups by preparing food stations and ensuring all necessary supplies are available

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety regulations (e.g., food safety certification)
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and in-person customer service interactions
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently
• Experience with kitchen equipment operation and basic cooking skills is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
