Duties

• Assist with food preparation and plating to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a clean dining area
• Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Manage food running tasks by delivering orders from the kitchen to the dining area swiftly and accurately
• Support food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure guest safety
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
• Assist with in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Participate in banquet or special event setups as needed, providing excellent guest services during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and general kitchen tasks
• Strong cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in all work areas
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Previous banquet or large event experience is a plus
