Job Summary

Looking for a flexible multi-skilled worker who does well in fast paced, rapidly changing environments; MUST be flexible on hours and willing to cover for unexpectedly dropped shifts. Our primary focus' are maintaining cleanliness, preparing presentable plates, upholding food safety, as well as offering timely service for our guests. Shifts will range from opening the line, closing the line, as well as opening and closing dish shifts if coverage is needed. You will be a VITAL and respected member of our crew :)!

Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to established standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, equipment, and storage spaces
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment following safe lifting practices
• Follow food safety protocols diligently during all stages of food handling and preparation
• Supporting the crew and assisting with large-scale food service operations (Saint Patrick's Day)
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
• Assist with in-person guest services by providing friendly assistance and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Engage in effective communication with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and uphold high service standards

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of food handling safety and proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience with banquet service or hotel hospitality environments is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude toward guests and team members
• Flexible in scheduling
