Kitchen Staff

Job Summary
We are a local family owned restaurant serving pizzas, pastas, grinders, and salads and are looking for someone to join our BOH team. Shifts would include food prep, line cook, and dishwashing as needed. Starting pay is $20, tips range from an extra $2-6 an hour

Duties

• Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Support cooking processes by monitoring food items during preparation and ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures
• Help with food preparation during lunch and dinner shifts
• Follow all food safety protocols and handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and assisting where necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety standards
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Food Worker card

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
