What they need

Experienced Line Cooks — Full-Time | Dishwashers — Part-Time

Line Cooks: $16–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Dishwashers: Starting at $15 per hour
Shift meals provided

We are hiring dependable kitchen staff who take pride in quality work, hold themselves to high standards, and understand the importance of a strong team.

For our line cook positions, we are looking for chef-minded individuals with a desire to learn, improve, and take ownership. That means caring about why a technique works, tasting and evaluating your food, anticipating what service will require, and understanding how your work affects the entire kitchen.

You do not need to have held a chef or sous-chef title. You do need professional experience, sound fundamentals, and the initiative to grow beyond simply completing a ticket. This is a hands-on line cook position for someone who brings a sous-chef mindset to preparation, execution, organization, and teamwork.

Full-Time Line Cooks

Minimum requirement: 2 years of professional kitchen experience. Applicants should be well versed in commercial kitchen operations and comfortable contributing across stations. Scratch kitchen, upscale restaurant, or fine dining experience is preferred, but not required.

What a Chef-Minded Approach Looks Like Here

  • Work with intention. Understand recipes, ingredients, cooking methods, and the standards behind each dish.
  • Check your own quality. Taste appropriately, verify seasoning and doneness, and check presentation before food leaves your station.
  • Think ahead. Prepare thoughtfully, monitor your mise en place, and communicate needs before they become service problems.
  • See the whole kitchen. Pay attention to timing, assist teammates, and understand that your station is part of a larger operation.
  • Respect the product. Store and handle ingredients correctly, maintain freshness, control portions, and minimize avoidable waste.
  • Stay teachable. Ask questions, apply feedback, and show a genuine interest in learning culinary skills and techniques.
  • Take responsibility. Recognize mistakes, communicate honestly, and help correct them.
  • Set a professional example. Bring consistency, cleanliness, composure, and respectful communication to every shift.

Line Cook Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, cooking methods, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Complete daily prep and maintain a stocked, organized station throughout service.
  • Use proper knife skills and safely operate commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Coordinate ticket timing so orders are accurate and components are ready together.
  • Maintain quality and consistency during busy service.
  • Follow food safety, allergen, temperature control, labeling, dating, storage, and rotation procedures.
  • Communicate shortages, equipment issues, and product concerns promptly.
  • Support other stations and help the team complete shared responsibilities.
  • Complete cleaning, equipment care, station breakdown, and closing duties thoroughly.

Part-Time Dishwashers

We are also hiring dishwashers who bring dependability, steady effort, and pride in maintaining a clean kitchen. Dishwashing is an essential part of service, and we expect the same respect, accountability, and teamwork throughout the crew.

Previous dishwashing experience is helpful. The four-year experience requirement applies only to line cooks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Keep clean items organized and available for kitchen and service staff.
  • Maintain an efficient workflow and communicate when support is needed.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment safely and follow sanitation and chemical handling procedures.
  • Maintain clean floors, dish areas, and assigned workspaces.
  • Remove trash and recycling and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
  • Assist with kitchen support tasks as assigned and trained.
  • Complete breakdown and closing duties thoroughly.

Requirements for All Positions

  • Reliable transportation, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler certification.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • High standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
  • Respectful communication with kitchen staff, service staff, and management.
  • Willingness to follow direction, receive feedback, and support teammates.
  • Initiative to stay productive and follow through on responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of an active kitchen position, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
