Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Support cooking activities, including grilling, frying, and plating dishes with precision and care
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
• Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring the dining area remains tidy and welcoming
• Assist with banquet setup and service to ensure smooth event operations
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Basic knowledge of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and interact positively with guests
• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles is advantageous
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
