Duties

• Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and organizing ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by cleaning surfaces, utensils, equipment, and ensuring proper waste disposal
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and managing dishware efficiently
• Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring prompt delivery
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and payment handling accurately
• Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to guest tables swiftly and courteously

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food handling procedures
• Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and safe lifting practices for heavy items
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks with attention to safety standards
• Familiarity with cleaning routines and maintaining hygiene standards in a busy kitchen setting
• Customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences
• Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order management
• Strong teamwork ethic with the flexibility to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
