About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Staff member to join our team at ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE. This is a full-time position based in Lipa City, Batangas, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our food preparation operations. As Kitchen Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day culinary operations, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards whilst maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Assisting with food preparation tasks including chopping, mixing, marinating and portioning ingredients
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining all tools and machinery in good working condition
• Maintaining strict food hygiene and sanitation standards at all times
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, including washing dishes, utensils and kitchen surfaces
• Receiving and storing food and kitchen supplies appropriately
• Following all health and safety regulations and company protocols
• Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient workflow

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of the role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
• Willingness to follow instructions and learn new techniques and procedures
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
