Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including countertops, equipment, and storage spaces
• Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of dishes to guests or dining areas
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices
• Clear tables and bus dining areas efficiently to prepare for new guests or events
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and safety standards
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and in-person customer service
• Experience with food running, serving, bussing tables, and guest services in banquet or restaurant settings
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
