Join Our Team at FLASHBACK BREAKFAST & LUNCH-Barrie

Flashback Breakfast & Lunch is a busy, retro-style breakfast & lunch restaurant in Barrie , Ontario. We are a fast-paced and growing establishment looking for a full-time or part-time Kitchen Staff/Cook to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast meats, etc.) in a timely and consistent manner
• Assist with food preparation including chopping, portioning, and meal assembly
• Ensure all meals meet presentation and quality standards before serving
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation at all times
• Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts
• Work closely with serving staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly
• Follow all restaurant policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and food safety regulations.

Requirements & Experience

• Previous breakfast cooking experience is required
• Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and timing
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Passion for delivering high-quality food and maintaining clean workspaces
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
