Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to standards
• Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Support bussing and food running duties to ensure tables are cleared promptly and orders are delivered efficiently
• Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene standards and comply with health regulations
• Support in stocking supplies and organizing storage areas for easy access during busy service hours
• Provide in-person customer service by assisting servers with guest needs and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of kitchen operations
• Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during shifts
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Familiarity with cleaning routines, bussing procedures, and manual handling best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism

Pay: $25.36 - $30.54 per hour
