Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established standards
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Support bussing and food running duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
• Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies, ingredients, or equipment
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
• Support front-of-house staff with serving guests and providing excellent in-person customer service
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when required

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and handling
• Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service excellence to enhance guest experiences

Pay: $24.82 - $29.90 per hour
