What You'll Do

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other food preparation tasks.

• Slice, weigh, and portion meat according to customer orders, recipes, and required measurement.

• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients and ensure food is prepared and presented according to company standards.

• Handle, store, label, and preserve food properly by following food-safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

• Keep kitchen workstations, tools, and equipment clean, sanitized, organized, and safe.

• Monitor ingredient and supply levels, report shortages, and assist with restocking as needed.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and required kitchen logbooks.

• Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and promptly report defects, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or food-preparation training is an advantage.

• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food-service environment is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of food preparation, ingredient handling, food safety, and kitchen sanitation.

• Familiarity with meat slicing and portioning is an advantage.

• Ability to follow recipes, order specifications, and established kitchen procedures.

• Basic knowledge of inventory monitoring and recordkeeping.

• Ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment safely, or willingness to undergo training.
