About the role

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Kitchen Staff to join the culinary team at Boracay Newcoast. This is a full-time position based in, Boracay , Aklan, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and kitchen operations that our guests expect. As part of our kitchen team, you will contribute directly to delivering exceptional dining experiences and upholding our commitment to quality, consistency and excellence in food service.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing, cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your assigned station and kitchen areas
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene protocols are followed at all times
• Assisting with food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating and portioning ingredients
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
• Following preparation instructions and maintaining consistency in dish quality
• Storing food properly and rotating stock according to food safety guidelines
• Supporting the Head Chef and senior kitchen staff with special requests and menu modifications
• Maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
• Contributing to a positive and cooperative kitchen environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel or catering establishment
• Strong understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of kitchen work, including standing for extended periods
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food preparation
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
• Reliability and punctuality
• A passion for hospitality and delivering quality food experiences
• Knowledge of local and international cuisines is advantageous
