Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes according to safety standards and recipes
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Support food running duties by delivering prepared dishes promptly from the kitchen to dining areas while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Buss tables by clearing used dishes, glasses, and utensils efficiently to keep the dining area tidy and organized
• Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Assist with food handling tasks in accordance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene standards are upheld
• Support front-of-house staff with customer service duties when needed, including taking orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS and assisting guests with their needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with kitchen tasks such as food preparation, cleaning, bussing, and food running
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during shifts
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and serve guests professionally
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Prior banquet or large-event kitchen experience is advantageous but not required
• Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
