Duties

• Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety and hygiene standards
• Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
• Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen managers
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
• Assist with banquet setups and catering events to ensure timely and quality service delivery

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
• Experience with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in banquet service, bussing, or hotel kitchens is highly desirable
• Demonstrated commitment to guest services and customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary settings
