As a vital part of our team, you will assist in food preparation and ensure that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals by following recipes and portioning food accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Support cooks in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling dishes.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Participate in training sessions on food handling and safety protocols as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A passion for cooking and the food industry is highly desirable.
