Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
• Support bussing and food running duties to ensure timely delivery of dishes from the kitchen to guests.
• Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely when moving supplies or equipment around the kitchen area.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Support front-of-house operations by serving guests at counters or tables as needed, providing friendly in-person customer service.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transaction management efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform manual tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A proactive attitude towards cleaning duties and maintaining a hygienic workspace.

Pay: $24.82 - $29.89 per hour
