Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes to ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and resetting dining areas promptly
• Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Provide excellent in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring their dining experience is positive
• Support food running duties by delivering prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently while maintaining food quality

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
• Familiarity with banquet or large event service can be advantageous
• A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail
