Sequoia Pro Bowl — Columbus, OH
Sequoia Pro Bowl is seeking dependable, energetic Kitchen Staff to join our food service team. Our kitchen serves bowlers, league members, parties, tournaments, and special events in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Kitchen team members prepare and cook a variety of menu items, assist guests at the snack bar, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and work together to provide fast, consistent food service.
Prior kitchen experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a busy environment.
Role Overview
Kitchen Staff are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items using our grill, fryers, pizza oven, and other kitchen equipment. Depending on the shift, team members may also take guest orders, operate the POS system, process payments, restock supplies, and assist with food delivery.
This is a hands-on position where everyone helps. During a rush, the priority is working together to get quality food to our guests quickly and accurately.

- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to management
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries

- Support teammates during busy periods and special events
- Complete additional kitchen duties as assigned
Work Environment
This is an active, fast-paced position. Kitchen Staff spend most of their shift standing and moving and regularly work around hot cooking equipment.
Team members must be able to manage multiple orders, communicate with coworkers, and maintain food quality and cleanliness even during busy league nights, weekends, tournaments, and events.

What Success Looks Like in This Role
Successful Kitchen Staff at Sequoia:
- Take pride in the food they serve — Orders are prepared correctly, consistently, and with attention to quality.
- Work with urgency — Guests shouldn't wait unnecessarily because the kitchen isn't organized.
- Keep a clean kitchen — Cleaning happens throughout the shift, not just at closing time.
- Follow food safety standards — Proper temperatures, storage, sanitation, and food handling are taken seriously.
- Work as a team — When the kitchen gets busy, team members communicate, help each other, and focus on getting orders out.
- Take ownership — If something needs stocked, cleaned, prepped, or handled, they don't wait for someone else to notice it.
- Stay composed — Busy periods are handled with focus rather than frustration.
- Are dependable — The rest of the team can count on them to arrive on time and be ready to work.
