Job Title: Kitchen Staff/Baker

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time (25–40 hours per week)
Schedule: Days, Evenings and weekends required
Salary: $15-$20 hourly

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Staff member / Baker to IMMEDIATELY join our culinary team. This unique role combines scratch baking or bake-offs with general kitchen preparation. The ideal candidate has strong foundational baking skills, is comfortable prepping savory or sweet ingredients, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Because our peak hours happen during late hours and weekends, open availability for evening shifts and weekends is required for this role.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Baking Operations: Prepare, portion, and bake off a variety of doughs, pastries, breads, or desserts following established recipes.
• Kitchen Prep Work: Chop vegetables, portion proteins, prepare sauces, and complete daily batch prep tasks to support the kitchen line.
• Quality Control: Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and ingredient freshness to ensure the highest product consistency.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace. Clean commercial mixers, prep tables, and dishware according to health safety standards.
• Inventory Support: Assist with restocking ingredients, labeling prep containers, and organizing the walk-in cooler or dry storage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience as a baker or kitchen prep cook (commercial kitchen, catering, or restaurant background preferred).
• Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, specifically evenings and weekends.
• Transportation: Must have dependable and reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival for all scheduled shifts.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and safely lift up to 40–50 lbs (such as flour sacks or ingredient buckets).
• Team Player: Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or alongside a team.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
