Responsibilities

• Ensure all kitchen and food service areas are kept impeccably clean and sanitized according to health standards
• Handle dishwashing duties efficiently, including washing, drying, and storing utensils, cookware, and dishware
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
• Support the organization of kitchen supplies, utensils, and cleaning materials for easy access and inventory control
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Contribute to maintaining a tidy work environment by regularly cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment
• Support the overall flow of food service operations by assisting with serving guests when needed

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments with knowledge of food service operations
• Strong understanding of cleaning protocols and sanitation practices within a kitchen setting
• Experience with food handling, preparation, and basic cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and guests
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• Good physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting supplies, and performing manual tasks

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
