Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment, ensuring that all food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment are kept in top condition. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and have an interest in the culinary arts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including workstations, floors, and equipment.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events and catering services.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff by providing necessary tools and ingredients during meal preparation.
• Ensure proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage or contamination.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties in the kitchen.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff effectively.
• A passion for hospitality and willingness to help others within the team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
