Kitchen Steward

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking and bilingual Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain a safe food preparation environment.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and stored.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, produce and pantry items and report any shortages to the Executive Chef.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
• Support cooks by providing assistance during peak hours to ensure timely meal service.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and cleaning procedures is an advantage.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.
