Kitchen Steward

• Warewashing: Wash dishes, glasses, cutlery, heavy pots, pans, and cooking tools using industrial machines or manual methods.
• Sanitation: Clean and sanitize floors, walls, drains, cooking surfaces, and large appliances like ovens and refrigerators.
• Waste Management: Empty garbage, handle recycling, and maintain safe, slip-free disposal areas.
• Inventory & Restocking: Track china, silverware, and kitchen supplies, restocking workstations before and during shifts.

Work Environment & Skills

• Setting: Found mostly in large-scale hospitality operations like hotels, resorts, cruise ships, and convention centers.
• Physical Demands: Requires long hours of standing, heavy lifting, and working in hot, humid conditions.
• Core Skills: Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, reliability, and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene rules.
