We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our team. The successful candidate will maintain kitchen cleanliness and support daily operations by ensuring utensils, equipment, and service items are clean and ready for use.

Job Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Operate dishwashing equipment correctly and report faults to the supervisor.
• Clean kitchen floors, sinks, work surfaces, and designated storage areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste regularly and keep waste disposal areas clean.
• Store clean utensils and equipment safely in their designated locations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow the required instructions.
• Assist with receiving and arranging kitchen supplies when required.
• Support kitchen and service teams with clean equipment during busy periods.
• Follow hotel hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
• Carry out other duties related to kitchen cleaning and stewarding as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in kitchen stewarding or cleaning is preferred; training can be provided.
• Able to perform physical duties, including standing for extended periods and handling kitchen equipment safely.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Responsible, punctual, and attentive to cleanliness.
• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Basic communication skills in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
