Kitchen Steward

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift. Rinsing garbage cans.
• Cleaning of Walking Fridge, Chiller.
• Cleaning of Dry Store area
• Maintaining the cleanliness of restaurant
• Refilling of all Dispenser (soap, sanitizing gel)
• Sanitize the kitchen, including the floor
• Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
• Assisting the chefs in washing of the vegetables
• Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
• Ensuring the washrooms are cleaned every 30 minutes.
• Should know the correct usage and dilution of chemicals
• Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
• Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
