Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our back of house culinary team in Business Bay.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring all prep stations, cookware, and service areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and food hygiene. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from our senior team members to help you work efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitation & Hygiene: Clean, wash, and sanitize all kitchenware, cookware, utensils, and service equipment according to strict food safety standards.
• Station Maintenance: Keep dishwashing zones, prep areas, floors, and waste stations clean, dry, and organized throughout service.
• Pace & Efficiency: Maintain the pace of service during high-volume rushes, ensuring the kitchen line never runs short of clean equipment or cookware.
• Waste & Chemical Handling: Safely handle, dilute, and store cleaning chemicals; empty trash bins and food waste per local municipal and kitchen guidelines.
• Team Support: Assist the line chefs with basic kitchen upkeep, opening/closing checklists, and receiving deliveries as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a kitchen steward or dishwasher in the UAE / GCC hospitality sector is strongly preferred.
• Speed & Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift kitchen equipment, and perform under pressure during fast-paced services.
• Safety First: Commitment to hygiene, workplace safety, and chemical handling protocols without cutting corners.
• Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Location & Availability: Must be able to commute reliably to Business Bay and work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and split shifts.
